Omnon Zero Waste
Southport's first dedicated organic refill shop — now also delivering fresh organic fruit and veg boxes, alongside its packaged grocery range, to homes across the local area.

Background
OmNom opened on Wesley Street in 2019 as Southport's first dedicated organic refill shop, with a simple goal: give the community access to affordable organic food while cutting unnecessary packaging waste. Starting with around 70 dispensers in its wholefoods refill range — well ahead of any supermarket at the time, and one of the biggest in the North West — the shop quickly became a place where customers could buy exactly what they needed.
In 2020, after a short closure and a switch to delivery, OmNom reopened with a broader offer: fresh, seasonal, organic fruit and veg to complement the refill range, alongside an expanded packaged grocery selection — a true one-stop organic shop in the centre of Southport.
How our platform has helped OmNom Zero Waste
Growing Good helped OmNom expand beyond the Wesley Street shop front and launch a home delivery offer — taking the same organic, low-waste ethos to customers who can't always make it into store.
Subscription veg boxes sit at the heart of that offer, giving customers a recurring way to receive fresh organic produce each week. The subscription basket makes ordering simple — customers can see what's coming, add packaged groceries from the wider range, and adjust their order without back-and-forth. Veg box swaps then add flexibility, letting customers exchange items they don't want for ones they do, so every box feels personal.
