About Growing Good

Growing Good is a software platform built specifically for veg box schemes and community-supported agriculture (CSA) businesses across Europe. We help growers manage orders, customers, and operations - so they can spend less time on admin and more time doing what they do best. We reached profitability independently before securing investment from Planetary Impact Ventures, and we're now growing our team and expanding across Europe. We're a small, mission-driven company that cares deeply about local food systems and the businesses that sustain them.

About the role

This is a newly created role for someone who wants to help good food businesses grow - not by aggressive selling, but by making it genuinely easy for veg box and CSA businesses to understand, adopt, and get lasting value from the platform.

You'll work closely with the founders and sit alongside our Product and Data Insight Manager and Onboarding and Support Lead. Between the three of you, you'll collectively own how growers experience Growing Good from first contact onwards - and you'll collaborate closely on everything from feature feedback to how we support users as the platform develops. As Growing Good grows across Europe, there's real scope for this role to grow with it.

What you'll own

Acquisition
  • Own the journey from first contact through to a confirmed decision to join the platform - handing off to our Onboarding & Support Lead once a food business is ready to get started
  • Run high-quality discovery and demo calls that feel like consultations, not pitches
  • Identify and pursue outbound opportunities across Europe and the UK, focusing on small, independent businesses working towards a better food system - local, organic, regenerative, agroecological.
  • Build and maintain relationships with trade bodies, CSA networks, and food system organisations - turning warm introductions into an ongoing pipeline

Content & education
  • Create video and written content that showcases real platform use - reducing time spent in repetitive demos and helping potential platform users self-qualify
  • Develop resources that help new users get to value faster - walkthroughs, guides, short-form video
  • Work with the founders to translate platform features into impact language: what does this actually do for a grower?

Platform experience
  • Work with our Onboarding & Support Lead and Product and Data Insight Manager to identify where existing users aren't getting full value from the platform - and find ways to address that
  • Design and deliver touchpoints that keep users engaged and help them get more from Growing Good over time
  • Feed user insight and feedback into the product conversation, (supporting our Product Manager rather than owning it outright)

Impact & voice
  • Create outbound content - LinkedIn, newsletters, community posts - that leads with impact rather than product promotion
  • Represent Growing Good at relevant events, networks, and online communities across Europe and the UK
  • Help shape how Growing Good communicates its mission as we expand into new markets

What we're not looking for

This isn't a quota-carrying, pipeline-obsessed sales role. We don't do cold calling, aggressive outreach, or discount-led closes. The food businesses we work with are small, values-driven operations - they need someone who understands their world and earns their trust.

What we are looking for
  • Experience in a consultative sales or customer success role, ideally within a values-driven SaaS company
  • Confidence running demos and discovery calls independently
  • Strong written communication - you can write for a grower in Somerset and a veg box coordinator in the Netherlands
  • Genuine interest in local food systems, sustainable agriculture, or community business models
  • Comfortable working autonomously across time zones and geographies
  • Video content creation is a strong advantage - we need someone who can screen record and make something useful without it needing to be over-produced
  • Based in the UK, or based in Europe with English as a first language (or equivalent standard)

How we work

We're flexible on working hours - content creation, outreach, and admin can happen whenever works best for you. The one constraint is keeping your demo availability open during the times growers are most likely to book - typically business hours across UK and European time zones.

Nice to have
  • A second European language
  • Prior experience in agri-food, food tech, or community-supported agriculture
  • Experience with content distribution in mission-led communities
